I am currently in the process of babyproofing our house.
this is not an easy task for many reasons..
1) we are remodeling our bathroom, (let's be honest, we are in the process of remodeling our whole house) which means all of our bathroom items are in our dining room.
2) our desk is too risky to have in the living room with all the cords etc that hang off it and around it, so it, too, is in the dining room.
3) my son likes to put everything in his mouth. he likes shoes, computer cords, hair... pretty much anything but what i am fine with him putting in his mouth-- his toys!
i just feel a little bit like my life is out of control.. it's how I feel when my house is messy-- not that i am a perfect cleaner by any means, but i like to have some sembilance or order going on!
oh well.. this is just a phase of life...

the gray
You can't hide
behind the gray
the red
tells me that it is you
you- surrounded by gray
me- wishing i were, too.

6 of one, half of the other
Living in Michigan
enjoying small town life (but would love to enjoy country life)
while raising our kids, Baby J (6 month old son) and H (7 1/2 year old stepdaughter)
trying to make our way through my hub's last year of his Master's degree (social work!)
dreading the end of it because of his promised gift (puppy) but looking forward to it because he will be home more.
Trying to figure out a job, how to make a difference, and how to be the best wife and mom I can be.
